January Favourites

I have tried lots of different products lately and I wanted to share some of my favourites with you.

Food & Drink

Anandas Gourmet Spice Packs

I tried the Kheema Aloo and Murgh Makhani Spice packs from Anandas Gourmet. They are so easy to cook with and have a handy shopping list attached to the back of each pack. There are lots of different spice packs and meal kitts available to make a whole variety of different dishes. They make life a little easier especially when you are time poor but want delicious food.

Teapigs Spiced Winter Red Tea

This is just so good and perfect for these cold spells as it is so warming.

Once you have finished brewing the tea the teabag can be used to make a dessert too šŸ™‚ Check out my post:https://binnyskitchen.com/2016/01/11/spiced-winter-red-tea-cheesecakes/

KIND Snack Bars

I am a big lover of food that you can carry with you to eat on the go or at work and these snack bars are so good. The flavour combinations are absolutely divine and they are so filling too. The Dark Chocolate, Nuts and Sea Salt are my absolute favourite. They are also very healthy, are gluten free and dairy free and are high in fibre.

Little’s Infused Instant Coffee

I made a trip to Wholefoods in South Kensington and found the Little’s infused instant coffee range there that I had seen at the Speciality Fine Food show last year. I was so happy to find the Cardamom flavoured one and it is divine!

They have some other awesome flavours too.

I got my stash from Wholefoods. For more information visit:

Nells Dairy Organic Guernsey Milk

I love milk and having tried the organic Nells Dairy Guernsey milk this is a favourite. It tastes so good. I know you are thinking milk is milk. Trust me this one tastes that much better! You can even have it delivered to your house.

Blood Oranges

I was so pleased to find these at WholeFoods and they were so juicy and yummy! I made a juice out of them for breakfast but want to go get some more to bake with. These are in season at the moment so make sure you get some. If you do, let me know what you make with them!

Okra crisps

Another product I found at Whole Foods ( this post is not sponsored by Whole Foods. I just managed to find so many interesting food products there!) were these Danielle Okra crisps. I am a huge lover of okra and these totally lived up to my expectations.

Perfect to slot into a lunch box or eat as a guilt free snack!

Beauty

Perfume – Elie Saab Le Parfum

Love this perfume and so far it is making the top of the list for 2016 and we are only in January! Its top note is orange blossom and then you get hints of jasmine, and finally a honeyed floral end. It is very feminine and a very impressive scent.

Perfumes have the ability to uplift your mood and this one makes me feel like dressing up and going out.

This is available in most beauty/fragrance departments in major stores.

Gwen Stefani Urban Decay eye palette and NAKED palette in Flushed

These palettes are amazing! This is my first time using Urban Decay products and am seriously impressed. Love the colours featured in them and the quality.

These are available from all major department stores in the beauty sections.

Planner

I love planners and bought myself one I can carry around everywhere from Kikki K, a new store in Covent Garden. If you are addicted to stationery (like I am), it is heaven in there. Full of amazing journals, notebooks, planners, stickers, pens and sticky notes as well as lots of other products, it is a must visit!

They also have an online store which is http://www.kikki-k.com

Brabantia Stackable Jars

These are so useful and look really good. They are stackable which makes them ideal too.

The colours are pretty awesome. In my opinion you can never have too many beautiful jars and they keep food fresher for longer. Win win! Find out more from: http://www.brabantia.com/uk/stackable-glass-jars-set-dark-grey/

Binny, you’ve got me obsessed with Kikki K. I just want to buy everything, especially their cute planners. I can’t find any cute ones in Kenya.
