Papaya Salsa

Perfect with Mexican Tacos or as a dip with some tortilla chips, this Papaya salsa is hot, sweet and delicious. Alternatively you can eat it in a salad with feta cheese.


  • 1 Papaya, de-seeded and diced.
  • 3 spring onions, chopped
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 1 green chilli, chopped
  • 1 capsicum/bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Juice of 1/2 lime


Mix the diced papaya, spring onions, red onion, green chilli and capsicum in a bowl. Season with salt and red chilli flakes and drizzle the juice of the lime over it. Mix well and let it infuse for around 20 minutes.
